Client Success Story – Fibromyalgia

Client Success Story: From Pain to Possibility
Living with chronic pain can be incredibly challenging, both physically and emotionally. For one of our recent clients, life had become a daily struggle. Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Polymyalgia, she was told by the medical profession that little could be done to alleviate her pain. At an 8 or 9 out of 10 on the pain scale every day, she felt drained, stressed, and as though she had lost her spark for life.
When she came to us, her energy was low, and her stress was high due to family issues. She felt stuck. We talked about the trauma she had experienced and how it might be affecting her pain levels—a connection that’s often overlooked but profoundly important. Together, we created a plan that worked within her budget: a focused 4-week program designed to calm her nervous system and gently rebuild her strength.

Week 1: Building Trust and Calming the System
We began with gentle Myofascial holding techniques. This approach is about more than just physical relief—it helps calm the nervous system, creating a foundation for healing. After our first session, she reported feeling slightly less tense, and while her pain remained high, she was open to continuing.

Week 2: Taking Back Control
By week three, we had built enough progress and confidence to introduce a simple home exercise. This single daily activity was carefully chosen to support her without overwhelming her system. She embraced it fully, motivated by her noticeable improvements in energy and well-being.

Week 3: Transformation
At her final session, she shared incredible news: her daily pain had dropped to a 3 out of 10. She felt a renewed sense of vitality and confidence, something she hadn’t experienced in years. She said, “I feel like I can live my life again.”
Since completing the program, she has continued her progress on an as-needed basis, maintaining her pain levels at a 2 or 3 out of 10. She’s enjoying her life again—an inspiring reminder of the body’s capacity to heal with the right support.
If you or someone you know is struggling with chronic pain, don’t give up hope. Healing is possible, and we’re here to guide you on your journey to wellness.
