Below are some commonly asked questions, but if they do not answer your query, please do not hesitate to contact us!

How long will my massage session be?

This depends on the treatment chosen but most are 30 or 60minutes long which include a short consultation period and dressing time.

Your first session with us will require you to complete a more thorough written health check which we highly recommend printing and completing in your own time, prior to your arrival in order to maximise your massage time.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing is always recommended in order to quickly and easily get dressed and undressed but arriving in everyday work or leisure clothes is not a problem as we endeavour to cover you whilst massaging with sheets and towels to avoid any contact of oil with items of clothing.

Do I need to shower before my massage?

It is always recommended to come to a therapy session following a shower where possible, but this is not essential.  At the start of any massage in which the feet are to be touched, the therapist will always clean the feet as a matter of ritual for hygiene and comfort.

What do I need to do during the massage?

Very simply…relax and enjoy it!  Depending on the type of massage you may wish to talk, fall asleep or just allow yourself to be pampered. Due to the fast paced nature of many of our lives, we recommend letting yourself fully relax without the need to talk during the massage, unless of course you have a preference to do so!

We do also strongly encourage the option of communication during the massage process should you require a change in pressure or if something is not comfortable, so please do say at any point if you would like something to change.

Will I be covered during my massage?

Yes.  Only those areas being worked shall be uncovered.

What oils do you use?
  • We have a range of oils, lotions and waxes to suit various massage treatments, all of which are simple and hypoallergenic.  The contents of each will be made available for client’s wishing to check ingredients.

Is massage suitable for everyone?

Most people can have a massage treatment without problems.  There are a few contra-indications and health complaints that may result in massage not being the right treatment for you.  Any concerns will be screened and checked during your initial consultation.

If the massage cannot take place due to contra-indications, you of course will get a full refund!

How do I book / rebook a massage session?

Bookings and payments can be in advance made by contacting us directly or using our Online Booking System.

Re-bookings can be done together with the therapist at the end of your session or online.

Can I book in advance the same time each week for a massage?

Yes, via our Online Booking System you have the option to bulk buy at a discounted rate and book a series of 6 massages in advance.

What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel my booking?

All bookings can be easily rescheduled online although we request that you would kindly refrain from making last minute changes.

Cancellations with full refund can also be done online within 72 hours of the booking time, but will incur a charge thereafter.

Any cancellations made within 24 hours will be charged at the same rate or a rebooking time will be offered on contact with us.

What massage therapy qualifications will therapists hold?

All of the therapists provided by TT will hold a recognised qualification in Anatomy and Physiology, and an accredited massage type or types, including Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology and more. Our therapists will only provide treatments in which they are officially trained, and all will have valid and current insurance.
