NLP Wellbeing Coaching
NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming which is a coaching style which uses a range of techniques to help directly relate to, and positively affect the sub-conscious mind, and habitual patterns of behaviour.
Unlike traditional counselling and psychotherapeutic techniques, NLP focuses much less on delving into the past and reliving traumatic and difficult memories, but instead teaches the individual tools to adapt their focus, retrain the brain to form positive habits and produce patterns of positive thoughts to not only overcome and resolve unwanted behaviours, but to learn how to think, function and thrive both personally and professionally.
NLP works on the ever-so-true understanding that there is a very simple yet direct relationship between our thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Thoughts affect our feelings, our feelings affect our behaviours, and our behaviours in turn re-inforce our thoughts. And around we go.
When are thoughts are positive and focused on those things we have control over, our feelings will be uplifted, which in turn produce effective healthy behaviours. If our thoughts however are negative, are feelings will become negative and our behaviours will in turn be affected in many often unwanted ways.
