What to expect during a sports and remedial massage

After a pre-massage assessment, to identify areas of tension and potential causes of discomfort and treatment goals, your therapist will advise which position to lie on the bed and which covers to use, before briefly stepping out, allowing you to undress to a level you’re happy with.

Your therapist will use a variety of techniques including deep tissue, stretches and trigger point therapy, to target and treat specific problem areas in your body. You may experience some discomfort during deep tissue work, but this should help to alleviate tension and pain and improve function. Your session is tailored to you, so don’t hesitate to share feedback with your therapist.

Had a brilliant tension and upper body massage. Was by far the best sports massage I’ve had. After having physio over the years I could tell straight away she knew what she was doing. Did wonders for my neck and back. Thank you will be coming back again.

I have been going for monthly sports massage therapy sessions for the last 4-5 months and my experience has been brilliant. I have remained with the same instructor (SiSi) who is very friendly and also has a great knowledge of the musculoskeletal system which as a result allows her to easily identify the source of pain. I experience a noticeable difference in the areas of my body that I experience pain from sport and exercise and it really is worthwhile to help free your body of aches and pains. I highly recommend the service and am grateful for the relief from pain it provides!
